An Instrument Every 90 Days

I have no musical talent whatsoever.
Learning an instrument has always been something that's on my bucket list. I can just never decide on which. I have bought instruments in the past with the intent to learn and then do nothing. I have an e-drum kit that has sat in various corners and never played. A guitar that sat in different corners.
I've decided it's time to start.
And I still couldn't decide which instrument to start with so I signed up with Musora. They have a wide range of lessons you can take: guitar, piano, singing, drums and more. I'm not sure it made deciding any easier, but I did eventually settle on the guitar.
To start.

I've decided to try each for 90 days. One after another. Practicing everyday.
I just wrapped my first week on the guitar. My fret hand is sore and I'm only slightly irritated it is a little more difficult than I expected. I didn't think I'd be playing anything yet, but getting my fingers to transition from cord to chord smoothly is going to take practice. And practice is becoming more enjoyable and more addictive.
I'm enjoying the process and look forward to practicing each evening. A key has been joining Musora's Private Access. Being part of community, setting goals, and sharing accountability has been a good mental check. Having access to mentors and Zoom sessions will also be key and the next best thing to private lessons.

And since I will be attempting something new every 90 days, the ability to transition between them while maintaining the same consistent connection with the mentors and community will definitely be a key to success. While I don't know what I will try next, I am looking forward to the experience. Who knows, maybe I'll let others vote on what I should do next.
Here's to starting my 90 day instrument journey with the guitar. Time to go make some noise.
